IF YOU USE A DONGLE:
If the license is stored on a dongle then as long as you have a working dongle (we recommend changing it at least once every 2 years to avoid normal wear and tear) your license is stored on it. If you break or lose the dongle then you will need to purchase a new dongle and a new license.
IF YOU USE A SOFTWARE LICENSE:
If the license is stored on your PC/Laptop (device) then you will need to purchase a new license if you:
1. Lose or severely damage your device
2. Take your device to get it fixed and you don’t contact our support before doing this.
The software license is stored inside your device, so if you e.g. clean your Hard Disk, or change the RAM, it may break the RadarOpus license. Before doing any maintenance to your device please contact our support and have your license “lifted” from your device. We will then place it back on your new/fixed device once it is returned to you. This procedure will avoid you breaking the license and thus having to pay for a new one.
