WHY DO I NEED A PASSWORD?
According to the General Data Protection Regulation, software manufacturers whose products can store patient data are legally obliged to store this data in encrypted form.
It is irrelevant whether you as a user actually store patient data or not; only the possibility obliges the manufacturer to encrypt according to the General Data Protection Regulation.
In the event of violations of the legal regulations, both manufacturers and users must expect severe penalties.
According to the GDPR, patient data is subject to the highest security levels.
A password is required for encryption.
HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?
Simply click on "Forgot password" when logging in.
Answer the control question you selected when creating the password and create a new password.
Follow the given rules for creating a password.
WHY DO I HAVE TO RENEW MY PASSWORD?
The General Data Protection Regulation makes it compulsory to change passwords at regular intervals.
You can choose the same password a second time; however, a new password that is just as strong can increase security.
WHAT IF I FORGET MY PASSWORD?
The RadarOpus password is stored in a file called "account.txt " on your desktop.
When the password is created, the system will inform you of this.
If you have deleted the "account.txt" file AND forgot your password, simply click on "Forgot password".
Answer the control question you selected when creating the password and create a new password.
We hope that you will be able to find or re-create your password with these instructions.
However, if you
1. forget your password AND
2. deleted the "account.txt" file on your desktop AND
3. have forgotten the answer you chose to the control question
you will have to reinstall the programme.
If you have saved analyses and NOT made a backup, these would be lost in that case.
